At Age & Opportunity we have over 25 year’s experience working with local authorities to develop a wide range of services that are appropriate to older people.

Local Authorities

Contemporary demographics show that Ireland is ageing. This presents challenges for public services. These challenges can also be opportunities. When older people can enjoy a good quality of life, when they are encouraged to be active, healthy and creative, then they can bring huge benefits to themselves and their local communities.

At Age and Opportunity we have over 25 years experience working with local authorities to develop a wide range of services that are appropriate to older people. We have gained unique expertise that can assist local authorities to develop ways include older people in local community activities and to create appropriate services for the older person, particularly in the area of arts &culture, in sports and physical activities and in lifelong learning.

If you would like to discuss how we can help you to develop both your policy and practice in positive ageing, we provide consultancy services as well as a wide range of tried and tested programmes that can assist you and your staff. Contact us to find out more.
