Active Citizenship and Lifelong Learning 2016 Christmas Update and Plans for 2017
The Active Citizenship and Lifelong Learning programme has been delivering training and support to groups all around the country in 2016. It was a busy year and we hope that 2017 will be just as busy and interesting as last year.
We have a range of programmes on offer if you are interested in developing new skills, becoming more active in your community and/or taking time out for personal development. One of our core beliefs is that we are never too old to learn something new or to reflect on who we are and what life has been like so far.
Many of our programmes are delivered in partnership with libraries, age friendly programmes, and other community resources. We believe that continued learning is one of the key factors in ageing well, and we also know how busy most people are, so most of our programmes are designed to take place over a series of afternoons or mornings.
We have already scheduled 2017 dates for Creative Exchanges , a QQI accredited course for activitites coordinators in day and residential care settings.
In 2017 we will also be running a number of other Education & Training initiatives throughout the country so keep an eye on our website. For more details or to book with us you can contact Fiona Holohan the programme co-ordinator on 01 8057798 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
